Lisa asks…
I am of age to vote now and I want to take my opportunity to try and influence the way Canada is going to be run by voting.
However, I don’t know where to start. I already tried the CBC Compass which matches you up with your political party, and I got Conservative. But it says something around the lines that they want to send more troops out of Canada and are more for private health care. Now I am unsure whether this is good or not, as war (or anything economics related) is not my “field” of interest, so I’m completely clueless on what I want for the economy, the armed forces, etc. This means that I’m not going to make a shot judgement and say whether sending troops out is bad or not, since I am not aware of the issue. Same goes for any other issue like more independence in the health care system. I don’t know if I’m for that either!
How do I decide what I want, and who to vote for that will get what I want?
I’m a science student, and I’m hoping to get into dentistry and maybe own a business. Now that’s far away, but I don’t know if who is going to run the country now will influence my career prospectives in the future.
Thank you.
Thanks, ksantimia! I posted on both just incase. Canadians (like myself) tend to go to “.com” instead of “.ca” =P

Did you ask on yahoo answers canada if there is one? That’s a good start

Ken asks…
please I need an answer as soon as possible

It’s easier to administer to a large population, yet at the same time it leads to a large amount of issues with possible voter fraud.
