Nomacorc is a proud supporter of the Frankie Lemmon School, an organization committed to helping children with special education needs. Frankie Lemmon mom, Melissa Matthews, is one of five finalists in Ikea’s national Life Improvement Contest and could be awarded 0000 to complete a project for Frankie Lemmon School students. Melissa’s project is titled “Special Technology for Special Kids” and would bring additional technology, equipment and software to students and teachers. This project would be life-changing for the children at Frankie Lemmon, many of whom use touch-screen iPads to communicate their needs. The winner of the contest will be determined by public online voting on Ikea’s contest website. There is a limit of one vote per email address per day until Dec. 23.
