Madden NFL 12 Cover Athlete Goes To Peyton Hillis

Hey gamers its Andrea Rene for Clevver Games. EA Sports and the National Football League decided to take a different approach to selecting the player who’ll appear on the Madden NFL 12 cover this year. In the past the infamous honor has gone to great likes Brett Favre, Larry Fitzgerald, and Ray Lewis. After many rounds of online voting it came down to previous cover star Michael Vick and Cleveland Running Back Peyton Hillis…and the winner is Peyton Hillis! After being traded last year Hillis made his mark in the NFL with 270 carries for over 1100 yards, scoring 11 touchdowns and catching over 60 passes! Hillis said he’s not afraid of the Madden Curse that has caused numerous injuries to past featured cover athletes. Instead he said he’s very excited and quite shocked as he didn’t believe he had a chance at winning. Just goes to show how loyal Cleveland fans are I guess.
